The Resource Manager will play a critical role in supporting DayOne Data Centers’ expansion in Thailand, with a primary focus on Chonburi-based developments. This role will lead and coordinate resource readiness activities across land, power, utilities, connectivity, and government engagement to ensure projects progress smoothly from development through execution.

This is a strategic, stakeholder-facing role requiring strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills, combined with a solid understanding of infrastructure and utilities. While technical exposure is important, this role is not a pure engineering position.

Key Responsibilities

Resource Strategy & Project Leadership

• Lead and coordinate resource development and acquisition strategies for Thailand projects, including land, power, utilities, connectivity, and permitting.
• Support early-stage project planning to ensure resource readiness aligns with development timelines and business objectives.
• Maintain a strong understanding of current and upcoming projects, development milestones, and long-term expansion plans in Thailand.

Stakeholder & Government Engagement

• Act as a key point of contact for external stakeholders, including government authorities, utilities providers, consultants, and partners.
• Support negotiations and discussions with power companies, infrastructure providers, and regulatory bodies.
• Manage and coordinate permitting activities, including securing TOP permits and other relevant approvals for Thailand projects.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work closely with internal teams across Development, Engineering, Finance, Legal, and Operations to align resource strategies with project needs.
• Coordinate inputs from technical teams and translate them into clear, business-focused discussions and decisions.
• Support collaboration with third-party partners and operators as required.

Budget & Commercial Support

• Collaborate with Finance & Analysis teams to support the development and tracking of resource-related capital budgets.
• Provide commercial and strategic input to ensure resource decisions are cost-effective and aligned with long-term project viability.

Requirements

• Experience in data centers or heavy infrastructure industries such as energy, utilities, oil & gas, telecommunications, transport, or large-scale industrial developments.
• Exposure to project development or resource planning activities, including land, power, utilities, connectivity, or permitting.
• Experience working on projects in Thailand, with a practical understanding of local stakeholders, regulatory environments, and approval processes.
• Familiarity engaging with power companies, utilities providers, government bodies, or major infrastructure partners.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to represent the business in external discussions and negotiations.
• Able to work effectively across technical, commercial, and business teams, translating technical inputs into clear decisions.
• Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and priorities in a project-driven environment.
• Thai and English proficiency is preferred.
• Willingness to be based in Chonburi and travel as required.
