Role Summary
As the WW Lifecycle Manager for the Power Category within HP Peripherals, you will own the global lifecycle strategy and performance of the Power portfolio (chargers, batteries, power accessories).
You will drive portfolio competitiveness, lifecycle discipline, and profitable growth, ensuring strong alignment with PC platforms, customer needs, and market dynamics.
In parallel, you will lead key transversal initiatives across Peripherals, including the definition and deployment of Top Recommended Products per Platform, helping simplify portfolio positioning and improve attach across segments and channels.
This role requires a strong mix of analytical depth, business ownership, and cross-functional influence, with a clear focus on execution and measurable outcomes in a global matrix environment.
Core Responsibilities
1. Power Category Lifecycle Management
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle management for the WW Power portfolio (NPI readiness, ramp, maturity, phase-out).
- Define and maintain the Power roadmap, aligned with platform evolution (consumer and commercial PCs) and market needs.
- Drive portfolio optimization, including SKU rationalization, gap analysis, and competitiveness improvement.
- Partner with GBU teams to ensure business requirements are reflected in product development.
- Ensure product readiness, availability, and lifecycle consistency to support regional execution.
2. Business Performance
- Track and analyse business performance (revenue, margin, attach, mix) for the Power category.
- Identify risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
- Contribute to business planning cycles, including forecast alignment and performance reviews.
3. Transversal Initiatives (Peripherals-wide)
- Lead and operationalize key cross-category programs, including:
- Top Recommended Products per Platform
- Cross-category attach frameworks and portfolio simplification
- Ensure alignment across category teams, regions, and GTM stakeholders.
- Translate strategy into clear, actionable deliverables (tools, frameworks, sales guidance).
- Track adoption and impact of initiatives and continuously improve execution.
4. Go-To-Market Enablement
- Ensure clear, consumer oriented and data-driven messaging are developed to support Power products positioning.
- Support regions and sales teams with actionable guidance and portfolio storytelling.
- Contribute to GTM plans in collaboration with Marketing, Category, and Channel teams.
- Deliver presentations and enablement sessions to drive alignment and adoption.
5. Market Insights & Analysis
- Analyse market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
- Generate actionable insights to improve portfolio decisions and attach performance.
- Support identification of growth opportunities across segments and regions.
- Leverage data to continuously refine lifecycle and portfolio strategies.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong experience in lifecycle management, category management, or business planning.
- Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Good understanding of PC ecosystem and peripherals attach dynamics.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority.
- Solid business acumen with understanding of pricing and margin drivers.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Structured and disciplined approach to project management and execution.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a global matrix environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
- 8–10 years of experience in product management, category management, or business planning.
- Experience in peripherals and/or PC-related business preferred.
- Experience working in a global, cross-functional organization.
- Fluent English required.
