Candidates who live within 50 miles of Boston, MA; Portsmouth, NH; Seattle, WA; Indianapolis, IN; Columbus, OH; or Plano, TX will follow a hybrid schedule, coming into the office two days per week. Otherwise, this role is remote.

 

The Talent Policy & Practices function is seeking a Talent Practices Consultant II to join the Talent Movement and Transitions team. This position supports workforce transitions and organizational change matters, partnering with key stakeholders to help drive consistent and effective outcomes while contributing to process improvement and broader Talent Practices work.

Responsibilities

  • Under minimal guidance, provides consultation and analysis on workforce transition matters, including organizational changes, talent movement, and related questions.
  • Partners with Business Advisory, Compensation and Benefits, business leaders, and legal stakeholders to help evaluate options and support timely follow-through on assigned matters.
  • Supports transition activities by gathering information, coordinating actions, preparing materials, and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Assists in identifying risks, issues, and potential impacts related to workforce transitions and escalates when needed.
  • Contributes to the development of communications, templates, talking points, and other materials used to support Talent Movement and Transitions work.
  • Supports the application of policies, procedures, and practices that promote consistency, fairness, and operational effectiveness.
  • Reviews data, trends, and information to support decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Participates in project work related to continuous improvement by helping track deliverables, coordinate timelines, and support implementation.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve workflows, reduce manual effort, and increase efficiency through process improvement or automation.
  • Gain exposure to additional areas of Talent Policy & Practices beyond workforce transitions, as needed.
  • Maintains awareness of business, policy, and employee experience considerations in the handling of workforce transition matters.

Qualifications

  • Effectively influences, collaborates, and partners with business leaders across multiple business units and functions to drive results.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policy, theory and practice normally gained through progressive work experience
  • Strong analytical, written and oral communication skills
  • Solid project and program management skills, to include planning, presentation and execution
  • Demonstrates a global mindset, with understanding of operating within a large, complex, globally matrixed organization
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities and making sound decisions quickly
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Human Resources or Business Administration) or equivalent experience required, in addition to 5–7 years of relevant human resources experience
