The Admissions and Recruitment Specialist supports all aspects of the admissions process with a primary focus on recruitment and prospective student outreach, application review and evaluation, admissions counseling, and other activities to engage highly qualified candidates for the Brown School’s graduate degree programs.Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manages recruitment for assigned programs.
- Collaborates with leadership to develop and execute a recruitment plan to support the University’s strategic plan.
- Represents the university at recruitment functions, including graduate fairs; travel will include evening and weekend commitments, concentrated in the fall and early spring.
- Represents the university to prospective students, communicating the distinctive aspects of the university, along with an in-depth knowledge of the university's mission and academic programs throughout the recruitment process.
- Partners with the admission and recruitment team to develop and implement a communication plan for prospective/admitted students.
- Serves as a liaison to connect prospective students with key university resources.
- Queries and generates reports on recruitment and yield activities; analyzes and interprets statistics and data to determine pace and predict resource needs to meet short and long-term enrollment goals.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
