Urgent Care Veterinarian – Medical Leadership Opportunity

About the Opportunity
A growing veterinary urgent care practice in Omaha, NE is looking for an experienced veterinarian to join its clinical team in a senior-level role. This opportunity is ideal for a DVM who enjoys urgent care medicine, surgery, dentistry, and mentoring other veterinary professionals.
The veterinarian will play an important role in delivering high-quality patient care while helping establish strong clinical standards and a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat urgent and same-day veterinary cases.
- Perform medical procedures and routine soft-tissue surgeries as appropriate.
- Provide dental care and related procedures.
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of medical conditions.
- Establish high standards for patient care and clinical medicine.
- Mentor and support associate veterinarians and veterinary staff.
- Collaborate with hospital leadership to improve patient flow, efficiency, and client experience.
- Participate in developing a strong, supportive clinical culture.
- Assist with the continued growth and development of the practice.
Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent veterinary degree.
- Active veterinary license in good standing.
- 3+ years of veterinary clinical experience.
- Experience with general medicine and surgery.
- Strong interest or experience in urgent care medicine.
- Comfortable handling a variety of same-day and higher-acuity cases.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Leadership or mentorship experience preferred.
- Compassionate, confident, and adaptable approach to patient care.
