Human Touch Home Health is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to serve patients throughout Fredericksburg and surrounding communities.
Patient opportunities may include Fredericksburg, Stafford, Spotsylvania, King George, Caroline County, Orange, Locust Grove, Bowling Green, Colonial Beach, and nearby areas.
You do not have to cover the entire territory. Build your caseload around your availability and the areas that work best for you.

What You'll Do
Working under the direction of a Physical Therapist, you will:
- Provide physical therapy treatments in patients' homes
- Follow established plans of care
- Assist with therapeutic exercises, gait, balance, transfer, and mobility training
- Help patients improve strength, endurance, and functional mobility
- Reinforce home exercise and fall-prevention programs
- Educate patients and caregivers on safe mobility techniques
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the supervising PT
- Coordinate with other members of the home health care team
- Complete accurate and timely documentation using WellSky
What We're Looking For
- Active Virginia Physical Therapist Assistant License Required
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
- Ability to work independently in patients' homes while following the established plan of care
- Home Health Experience Preferred, but Not Required
- WellSky Experience is a Plus
