Job Description:
Under general supervision, performs and documents technical functions related to calibration, testing, inspection, maintenance, and documentation of manufacturing equipment and measuring instruments.
This position supports the Calibration and Metrology function by executing internal calibrations, coordinating external calibration activities, maintaining calibration records, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements. The role performs electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical calibration-related activities while supporting the reliability and compliance of manufacturing and laboratory equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Administer and maintain the calibration system through documentation, tracking, and coordination of calibration activities for equipment such as Instron Tensile Testers (Pull-Test), MicroVu Systems, SmartScope Systems, Optical Comparators, Laser Measurement Systems, and other measuring instruments.
Execute and document internal calibration activities for manufacturing and laboratory equipment.
Coordinate external calibration services and maintain associated records.
Maintain calibration databases and calibration status records to ensure equipment compliance.
Coordinate and document repair, testing, calibration, and inspection activities for instruments, test equipment, and manufacturing equipment.
Set up, adjust, and operate manufacturing and laboratory equipment associated with production and quality activities.
Assist in maintaining compliance of measurement systems and calibration processes.
Generate and maintain calibration documentation and technical reports.
Record calibration procedures, results, and technical findings for Engineering review.
Support troubleshooting activities on measurement devices and calibration equipment when required.
Perform self-inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and calibration procedures.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Complete all required Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality training.
Ensure compliance with company policies, GMP requirements, and regulatory standards.

General supervision: routine duties are performed with minimal supervision; standard practices and procedures allow completion of routine work independently while receiving guidance for more complex assignments.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma required.
Technical degree in Quality, Production, Electronics, Electromechanics, Maintenance, Metrology, or a related technical field.
University studies in Engineering are a plus.
2–3 years of related experience in calibration, metrology, maintenance, manufacturing support, quality systems, or technical environments.
Experience working with measurement equipment and instrumentation is desirable.
Experience in regulated manufacturing environments is a plus.
Intermediate English level preferred (reading and writing; verbal communication is a plus).
Demonstrated willingness and ability to learn calibration methods, metrology practices, and measurement systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Windows-based systems.

Ability to use test and measurement equipment associated with the discipline.
Understanding of calibration and metrology principles.
Ability to read and understand technical documentation.
Ability to learn calibration systems and regulatory requirements.
