An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Vice President- Europe, Sales & Marketing for Rolls-Royce & Partners Finance Limited (“RRPF”).
RRPF is a premier jet engine leasing company with a large portfolio comprising of Rolls-Royce and engines manufactured by other leading engine manufactures. Our vision is to be the best partner in our customer’s growth.
We provide medium and long - term spare engine leasing and bespoke financial solutions to airlines, aircraft lessors and OEMs and support over 75 customers worldwide with a portfolio of over 900 owned and managed jet engines.
This role sits within the Sales and Transaction team; a fast-paced team responsible for spare engine leasing, sale and lease backs and sales revenue.
Key Accountabilities
Reporting to the SVP EMEA you will lead the sales and marketing activity for the Europe region (or another region as assigned) with key deliverables to expand the RRPF footprint through engine placements, sale and lease backs, finance leases and spare engine sales to over 75 airline customers and investors in the region
Identify new business opportunities by analysing market data and emerging trends and develop financing solutions to meet customer requirements
Build and maintain robust relationships with customers at C-Level through overseas travel and proactive engagement to develop a robust customer understanding within the region
Lead all aspects of the sales process, handling negotiations and creating term sheets to align with customer needs and business goals
Work closely with Rolls-Royce and other OEM sales directors, Customer Support Teams, and Regional Directors to drive collaboration and strategic alignment
Lead and mentor junior members of the marketing team, fostering a high-performance culture
Key Experiences and Qualifications
Experience in commercial aviation industry, with a strong proven track record in:
Leasing of Rolls-Royce, IAE, Pratt & Whitney and CFM engines
Origination of sale and leaseback and finance lease transactions
Experience in Rolls-Royce TotalCare including OPERA/ ELLPRA framework and other OEM maintenance programmes
Sale and trading of Rolls-Royce/IAE/CFM/PW engines with airlines and aircraft lessors
Experience in dealing with, and an established network of, airline customer representatives at C-Level across Europe and a sound understanding of Rolls-Royce, Pratt & Whitney and CFM operators in the region
Proven experience in pricing and economic analysis for customer campaigns. Be confident in modelling lease return economics, ensuring that proposals achieve satisfactory economic returns whilst valuing engines based on certain technical conditions and assess credit worthiness of customers
Excellent literacy and numeracy skills, understanding of market patterns and trends to establish and guide long-term business goals
Advanced Degree (M.Sc. or equivalent) in Aerospace Engineering or Finance
