Service Credit Union is seeking a Network Engineer ІI who will operate as a key member of the IT staff. This position will evaluate, design, and maintain the performance of the enterprise network and IT systems in accordance with current and future business requirements, assuring compliance with all corporate and local policies and procedures. Working with IT management and / or the Network Engineer team, this position will plan, coordinate, deploy and maintain the IT network infrastructure related activities of the organization.

Compensation range: $109,372 - $136,716/yearly, depending on experience and qualifications. Junior level candidates typically start at the lower end of the range, with opportunities for growth as skills develop.
Location: This is an on-site position following our hybrid requirements of three days on-site and two days remote. Candidates must live within 60 miles of our corporate office located at 3003 Lafayette Road, Portsmouth NH to be considered for this position.

The Day to Day:
- Working in conjunction with the Infrastructure Manager of Corporate Networks Systems and / or the Network Engineer team, manages the design, installation, and maintenance of the IT network infrastructure. This includes the LAN/WAN environment, Corporate and DR Datacenters as well as all remote branch locations.
- Monitors LAN/WAN network performance to ensure resource availability and reliability and makes recommendations as needed.
- Perform network maintenance and upgrades on both network hardware and software.
- Install and configure various network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and other network appliances.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining network datacenter, branch, and WAN topology diagrams, and ensure they are up to date.
- Participate in weekly on-call rotation with network / systems team.
- Provide helpdesk support and troubleshooting to resolve network related issues.
- Performs and maintains backups of all network equipment configurations
Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.

Experience and Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Information Systems or equivalent preferred.
- 3 – 5 yrs. of experience as a Network Engineer.
- Cisco CCNA certification required. Juniper JNCIA or JNCIP preferred.
- Experienced with the following network hardware/software, technologies, and protocols.
- Cisco 4000 ISR, 1001 ASR series routers.
- Cisco 3850, 4500, 9300, 9400, 9500 series Layer 2/3 switches
- Cisco Nexus 7000, 9000 series datacenter switches
- Palo Alto SDWan
- Aruba Access layer switches
- Juniper Datacenter switches - QFX model level
- Juniper Apstra network automation tool
- Palo Alto Firewalls
- Experience with F5 load balancers
- Aruba Wireless / ClearPass Policy Manager
- Routing and switching protocols / technologies: EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, HSRP, NHRP, GRE, DMVPN, PAgP, LACP, VTP, CDP, CEF, VLANS, STP, OTV, TACACS, Radius, NetFlow, QoS, 802.1x.
- In-depth knowledge of dynamic routing protocols with emphasis on BGP
- Deep understanding of enterprise network & datacenter operations
- Ability to design redundant and scalable network solutions for datacenter, voice, WAN, and LAN networks.
- Full understanding of SD WAN solutions and their deployments.
- WAN Technologies: Metro Ethernet, MPLS.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex routing and switching issues in both a LAN / WAN environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot datacenter network connectivity issues.
- Experience with enterprise network & datacenter operations.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively verbally and in writing.
