About the role – Branch Manager at Smith&Smith® - Otago Hub

Location: Smith&Smith Otago Hub - includes branches in Dunedin and Oamaru
Hours: 40 hours per week, rostered across Monday – Sunday
About You:
You’re an experienced professional with a strong background in autoglass or a related customer-facing operational role. Ideally, you’ll bring:
At least 3 years’ experience as an autoglass technician, including repair, replacement, and ADAS recalibration — or equivalent experience in an operational or customer service role within the autoglass or similar trade-based industry.
Demonstrated successful Leadership capability from a fast-paced environment with multiple direct reports
Team-building experience, with a focus on leveraging diverse skills and perspectives to achieve shared goals.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex issues into clear, actionable steps.
A solid understanding of Safety, Health, and Wellbeing practices, with a track record of applying them effectively in line with company policies.
Excellent communication skills, ensuring clarity, collaboration, and a shared understanding across your team and with customers.
Commercial awareness, using your knowledge of the industry and market trends to help drive business success.
Prepared to be hands on when required to serve customers and support your team. You'll need to have a high level of physical fitness and able to lift over 25kg repetitively to do that.
A clean, full New Zealand driver’s licence.
Unrestricted rights to work in New Zealand.
Must be willing to complete a drug and alcohol pre-employment test as part of our selection process.
