About The Role:
YipitData’s Corporate team collaborates directly with organizations like Ulta, 3M, and Scotts Miracle-Gro to build one of the most comprehensive views into how consumers in the U.S. are purchasing and engaging with brands. By transforming massive volumes of consumer data into accurate, reliable, and actionable insights, we enable our clients to understand not just what is happening in their businesses, but why—and to use that understanding to make higher-confidence decisions in an increasingly competitive landscape.
One of the biggest challenges across the entire Corporate Data team over the next year is going to be effectively hiring, training, and scaling a large number of new Data team members at different levels and setting up scoreboards to track our goals effectively.
The Corporate team is rapidly growing, and we seek dedicated resources to stabilize and grow training and enablement functions across our Data teams. We are focused on building 0-1 systems to stabilize our rapid growth (best seen in hiring and onboarding), measuring what matters to drive impact with standardized scorecards, and working with data leaders to continue scaling best practices. Expect that this role will be cross-functional; you will work with applicants, employees in early onboarding, and with functional leaders to drive consistent, impactful change.
As part of our continued growth, we are excited to welcome a Senior Product Operations Manager to oversee the enablement functions for our technical teams and help us scale our team effectively.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 6-8 years of experience who thrives in ambiguity & rapid growth, loves building systems that scale, and gets energy from helping people do their best work.
This is a remote-friendly opportunity that can sit in NYC (where our headquarters is located), one of our office hubs, or anywhere else in the US. However, depending upon where the remote work is performed, income could be subject to New York State tax withholding.
We expect East coast work hours. Several of our team members are based globally. You may be asked to work flexible hours as needed to support junior employees in different regions.
As Our Associate Director You Will:
- Own, maintain and improve our onboarding, training and enablement assets and processes for new and existing employees
- Collaborate with Data team members and managers to ensure our training materials, best practices, and resources allow new hires to start contributing quickly and existing team members to maximize their efficiency
- Oversee key parts of our recruiting processes such as grading take-home assignments, interviewing candidates, and working closely with our recruiting teams to fill 10+ positions over the next six months
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate content creation, automate knowledge base maintenance, and identify gaps in training coverage
- Measure outcomes across all enablement and operations initiatives — onboarding ramp time, training effectiveness — and iterate based on data
You Are Likely To Succeed If:
- You have 6+ years of experience working in a technical enablement or technical operations function in a fast-paced, high growth environment
- You have experience building and running technical training programs, particularly for high-growth teams; you have experience scaling programs to match growth
- You have a data-driven mindset and have at least intermediate SQL and Python skills
- You have experience identifying KPIs or other internal metrics and have built automated trackers to measure accuracy and/or adherence to workflows
- You are a self-starter who takes ownership of ambiguous projects that are critical to driving impact on a team. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth business and are able to aggressively prioritize your time across important initiatives.
- You can effectively manage many parallel processes at the same time
- You love working with new hires and building resources to support all team members continue to grow and develop
- You are excited about owning a new enablement and operations function and scaling high-performing teams of data analysts for a rapidly growing product
