Job Posting Title:

Manager, DPI Marketing/Sales/Communication

Req ID:

10158784

Job Description:

Disney PhotoPass captures and delivers the photo and video memories Guests take home from their Walt Disney World Resort vacation. We are seeking a manager to lead the marketing arm of the Disney Photo Imaging (DPI) business.

As Manager, Marketing, Sales and Communications, you will own marketing strategy and execution for the PhotoPass business: brand stewardship, full-funnel campaigns across the Guest journey, media events and public relations, social media, sales-channel programs, and communications for product launches and operational initiatives. You will lead a team of marketing and communications professionals and partner daily with Product Delivery, Park Operations, Public Affairs, Consumer Engagement, Finance, and partners and teams across Walt Disney World. We are looking for a leader who pairs sharp creative instincts with data-driven judgment — and who will bring contemporary practices, from emerging social formats to AI-accelerated ways of working, that can further advance our talented organization.

**As part of your application, please submit a portfolio highlighting marketing campaigns, strategic initiatives, and projects that demonstrate your ability to drive results, inspire audiences, and lead innovative marketing efforts.

This position reports to the Director, Digital Experience.

What You Will Do

  • Own the annual marketing strategy and plan for Disney PhotoPass: translate business priorities into clear departmental plans, allocate team and financial resources across brand, campaign, media, and sales-channel activity, and adjust priorities as Guest, operational, and commercial needs evolve across the full Guest journey — pre-arrival, on-site, and post-visit.

  • Lead and develop a team of marketing and communications professionals, with accountability for the performance, development, and results of the team’s work — goal-setting, workload prioritization, coaching, performance management, and long-term capability building.

  • Serve as the senior marketing and communications representative for Disney PhotoPass, influencing cross-functional priorities and building alignment with Product Delivery, Park Operations, Public Affairs, Consumer Engagement, and Finance partners.

  • Steward the PhotoPass brand — voice, visual identity, and message architecture — across paid, owned, and earned channels, keeping creative grounded in Guest insight and performance evidence.

  • Provide strategic and creative direction for photo and video productions, campaign storytelling, brand content, and new-product marketing assets.

  • Direct integrated, full-funnel campaigns with internal media and CRM partners — paid search, digital media, lifecycle email, social, and in-park channels — overseeing creative through the approval path to market and owning accountability for results.

  • Set the social media strategy and direct experimentation in emerging formats — short-form video, creator and UGC partnerships, and community building — with clear measures for what earns further investment.

  • Represent PhotoPass at media events and press moments: own the PR calendar, talking points, and spokesperson readiness, and serve as an on-camera voice of the brand when needed. Ensure other DPI leaders selected as spokespeople are media-trained, briefed, and prepared to deliver approved product and brand messaging.

  • Oversee communications for new product launches and rollouts, partnering with Public Affairs, PR, and Operations to coordinate the story Guests, Cast, and media hear — and when they hear it.

  • Oversee communications strategy, editorial planning, copy development, and message governance for Guest- and Cast-facing print and digital channels — collateral, blogs, social content, operational communications, and product-launch materials — advising project and operations teams on messaging, timing, and channels.

  • Drive sales-channel marketing — promotions, incentive programs, sales enablement, and product education supporting the Disney Reservation Center and in-park sales teams — in partnership with Operations and channel leadership.

  • Champion AI-enabled ways of working across the team: apply generative AI to accelerate content production, personalization, analysis, and campaign operations while protecting brand quality, accuracy, and compliance.

  • Manage the marketing budget through the annual operating plan cycle: monthly expenditure reviews with Finance, in-year reallocation, and ROI measurement for every major tactic.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 8+ years of progressive marketing experience spanning brand and performance channels, with 3+ years directly leading and developing a team of direct reports, with accountability for team results

  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and build alignment across a complex, highly matrixed organization

  • Demonstrated success planning and executing integrated, full-funnel campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels, with measurable business results

  • Strong creative instincts and brand stewardship: able to evaluate and elevate creative, guide agency partners, and hold a consistent message architecture across channels

  • Analytical fluency: campaign measurement, A/B testing, and funnel metrics, with a track record of using data to make and defend marketing decisions

  • Hands-on experience applying generative AI tools to marketing workflows — content development, analysis, personalization, or campaign operations — with sound judgment on quality, brand safety, and disclosure

  • Excellent verbal and written communication — from copywriting for collateral and editorial to executive presentations and representing a brand externally — with the range to move between brand voice and plain operational clarity

  • Experience managing a marketing budget: forecasting, monthly reconciliation with Finance, and ROI reporting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Marketing experience in travel, hospitality, entertainment, or another Guest- or consumer-experience business

  • Experience marketing location-based Guest or consumer-experience products (theme parks, attractions, photography services), or familiarity with Disney PhotoPass

  • Experience with media events, public relations, or on-camera spokesperson work

  • Experience supporting product launches or operational change with coordinated communications plans

  • Depth in lifecycle/CRM marketing or paid search optimization

  • Experience with trade, sales-channel, or incentive-program marketing

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience

Preferred Education

  • Master’s degree in marketing, integrated marketing communications, business, communications, or related discipline
