SPMT Operator I for Heavy Lifting and Transport Solutions

The SPMT Operator will be responsible for operating, loading and unloading, and assembling and disassembling assigned SPMTs and auxiliary equipment according to the required configuration. The role will involve safely moving and positioning heavy loads, as well as performing routine and preventive maintenance in accordance with available work standards and instructions. The Operator will ensure that all assigned activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with Mammoet and client requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Prepare and operate SPMTs according to transport plans, work orders and procedures.
• Transport, move and reposition loads safely and efficiently.
• Load, unload, assemble and disassemble SPMTs and auxiliary equipment.
• Secure loads and perform equipment inspections and routine maintenance.
• Follow SHE-Q requirements, perform LMRA and participate in safety meetings.
• Communicate effectively with the Supervisor during operations.
• Report equipment issues, safety risks and required repairs.
• Complete required operational documentation and keep training certificates up to date.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Completed High School Education.
• 3 years of relevant work experience in a technical or transport environment.
• Relevant safety training and certifications according to Mammoet requirements.
• Professional knowledge of modular transport operations.
• Professional-level knowledge of rigging operations and equipment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow transport plans, work instructions, operational procedures and safety requirements.
• Willingness and availability to work on remote jobsites and, when required, travel internationally for multiple consecutive weeks.
