About the Role
I&C Commercial Specialist is a dynamic role with a large amount of autonomy to make decisions within certain guidelines. You will have daily, monthly and annual volume and margin KPI's set and your success within the business is measured against these targets. The successful candidate will have the ability to make quick decisions, do a deal, are self-driven to success & cope with a high paced job where they are not always in control of the workload.
This role reports to the WA Business Development Manager and would be suitable for someone who is looking for a career in External Sales, you also need to demonstrate tenacity and the ability to succeed within a competitive industry. A valid driver's license is critical, and some interstate and international travel may be required.
What You'll Do
Servicing and developing our existing customer base
Align sales with corporate objectives
Responding to all phone/email sales enquiries in a timely manner
Preparing sales reports
Maintaining and expanding customer relationships
Successfully meeting and exceeding KPI's
Increase market share
Proactive outbound calls to existing customers to generate sales activity
Ensuring customer base are regularly updated with product information and new promotions
Identify and make recommendations regarding marketing initiatives
Attending trade shows and events and representing the business in a professional manner
Stay up to date and informed with competitor activity and future projects
What You'll Need to Succeed:
Natural Sales ability
Experience in the electrical industry highly advantageous but not critical
Strong client liaison and relationship building skills
Results orientated
Willingness to travel
Ability to multitask and think on your feet
Positive attitude and the ability to keep cool under pressure
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Great time management skills
IT literate
Good administration skills
Excellent team player who is positive, proactive and results driven
