We are looking for an experienced Senior Operations AI Engineer (Senior Associate level) to join our Process Excellence & Intelligence team in Athens, within our broader Business Operations team. Our mission is to help clients understand, reimagine, and continuously improve their operations through business-led and data-driven approaches, supported by technology, that deliver measurable and sustainable benefits. 

You will sit at the intersection of AI engineering and operational excellence — identifying and translating identified process improvement opportunities into intelligent, autonomous systems that monitor, reason, and optimize operational environments. You will combine cutting-edge AI capabilities with deep business process understanding to operationalize transformation initiatives and act as the go-to technical authority for your team and clients alike.

MAKE A REAL IMPACT

Client Engagements & Business Development 

• Own technical project deliverables and presentations on client-facing engagements 
• Guide clients on AI adoption, feasibility, and implementation approach across operational transformation initiatives 
• Contribute to proposal development and opportunity shaping with AI and technical perspectives 
• Present AI-driven recommendations and implementation strategies to senior client leadership 

Process Excellence Translation & AI Solution Design 

• Translate process analysis findings and improvement opportunities into intelligent AI-powered solutions that operationalize recommendations and enable autonomous optimization of business workflows 
• Work with process mining and AI-driven insights to understand operational patterns and recommend AI solutions to address inefficiencies 
• Build intelligent technical solutions and AI-enabled platforms that support transformation and automation initiatives 

AI Engineering & Intelligent Systems 

• Build and deploy ML models using PyTorch, TensorFlow and Scikit-learn for operational optimization 
• Develop agentic AI tools with LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen or CrewAI that autonomously monitor, reason and recommend actions 
• Design multi-agent systems with RAG pipelines, vector databases and tool-calling architectures for end-to-end operational workflows 
• Deliver production-grade AI systems — APIs, ML pipelines and cloud deployments on Azure, AWS or GCP using Docker and Kubernetes 
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools like Cursor, Claude and GitHub Copilot to accelerate prototyping 

Implementation & Technical Leadership 

• Support clients throughout the implementation and adoption of AI-powered solutions 
• Collaborate effectively across process excellence teams, clients, and stakeholders to build trusted relationships and drive adoption 
• Lead technical decision-making and act as the primary AI engineering advisor for the team 
• Mentor team members and lead knowledge-sharing initiatives to build AI capability across the organization 

WHAT YOU BRING MATTERS

• Excellent academic background from a top-tier university in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or related field 
• 2-5 years of professional experience in ML engineering, AI systems, agentic AI, or operational transformation with demonstrated technical leadership 
• GenAI & AI Frameworks: Strong proficiency with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG architectures, and agentic AI frameworks (AutoGen, CrewAI or similar) 
• Programming & Development: Python (preferred); ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn); AI-assisted development environments (Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot or similar) 
• Data & Cloud: Solid understanding of databases, SQL, data engineering; experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP also valuable) 
• Business Intelligence: Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, advanced Excel) and process mining applications 
• Process & Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with business process management concepts and ability to translate process improvements into technical AI requirements 
• Languages: Fluency in Greek and English, with ability to explain complex technical and operational concepts to diverse audiences 
• Core Competencies: Strong organization skills, adaptability to dynamic environments, exceptional collaboration and communication, critical thinking, and commitment to high-quality work 
• Military services fulfilled where applicable 

Strong Advantage 

• Experience designing and delivering end-to-end enterprise AI integrations (ERP, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) 
• Experience with multi-agent system design and autonomous workflow orchestration 
• Familiarity with MLOps platforms (MLflow, Kubeflow, Azure ML) 
• Hands-on experience with low-code/no-code platforms and workflow automation (n8n, Microsoft Power Platform, UiPath or equivalent) 
• MBA or Postgraduate degree in Business, Operations, Data Science, or related practices
