Job Description Summary
The Fleet Assistant supports the efficient management of Hunt Electric’s vehicle fleet. They will assist the Fleet Supervisor and Specialist with tracking vehicle usage, registrations, maintenance and repairs coordination to ensure reliability and compliance with safety standards. The Fleet Assistant will respond to drivers, vendors, and other internal teams to keep fleet operations running smoothly. This position is based at our Eagan, MN headquarters and a hybrid work schedule (3 days in office and up to 2 days remote weekly after an initial training period).Job Description:
Role and Responsibilities
Build and maintain spreadsheets to keep fleet data organized, up to date, and compliant with safety and regulatory requirements
Schedule vehicle pickup, delivery, maintenance, and detailing
Assist the Fleet Supervisor and Specialist with vehicle registrations, insurance claims, and other tasks as needed
Update the Vehicle Information System (VIS) to enter or remove applicable vehicle data
Respond to drivers, vendors, and team member calls, emails, or messages in a helpful and timely manner to provide excellent customer service
Qualifications and Education Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent.
2-5 years of experience in related fields such as fleet management, rentals, registration, or vehicle maintenance
Excellent organization, time management and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Ability to learn internal accounting and fleet management software.
Vehicle and equipment maintenance knowledge preferred.
Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
Physical Requirements
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop, tablet, phones, filing cabinets and printer/copier.
This position may be exposed to weather conditions.
Employees are frequently required to sit, and occasionally required to kneel, reach, stoop, crouch or crawl.
This position requires the ability to lift files, open file cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary.
This position may occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay Range:
$54,272.00 - $74,752.00Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only. In addition to base compensation, Hunt Electric offers a robust benefits plan.
