Ukiah Natural Foods Co-op is seeking a vibrant, enthusiastic, go-getter who will promote the co-op through marketing, outreach and networking. The Outreach & Marketing Manager will develop and promote the stores marketing, branding and outreach programs in relation to the mission and vision.

We are looking to fill a full-time hourly position.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Passion for local food, healthy eating, education, community-building, and a cooperative, community-based approach to doing business
• Manager/Supervisor experience
• Experience in marketing, social media and outreach
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Computer and technical knowledge, including social media
• Familiarity with survey and email marketing tools
• Experience with handling a department budget
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Publisher, PowerPoint, Web design, Excel, and Access
• Proficient in Java Script,, Google Suite, Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Fantastic interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage different types of people (Current involvement in our local community is a plus)
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple, concurrent activities with short turn-around times with multiple internal and external customers
• Familiarity with event planning and outreach
• Familiarity with updating web content, WordPress, and web-based marketing
