Key responsibilities
- Analyze, develop, and improve production processes to increase operational efficiency.
- Identify and execute cost-reduction, productivity improvement, and waste-reduction projects.
- Develop and implement work instructions, operating standards, and technical documentation.
- Perform time and motion studies, line balancing, and capacity analysis.
- Participate in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Optimize layouts, material flows, and workstations with a focus on safety and ergonomics.
- Lead new product and process introduction activities, validations, and line start-ups.
- Track manufacturing indicators: OEE, scrap, yield, productivity, efficiency, and cycle times.
- Collaborate with Quality, Production, Maintenance, and EHS to resolve operational issues.
- Support customer audits, applicable certifications, and internal documentation requirements.
Profile requirements
Education
Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or related degree.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years as a Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, or similar role.
Industry
Manufacturing, assembly, automotive, metal-mechanical, electronics, or appliances.
Language
Intermediate-advanced English; B2 or higher preferred for technical meetings and reports.
Availability
On-site; availability to support the shop floor, line changes, and special projects.
Technical knowledge:
Lean Manufacturing, time and motion studies, line balancing, layout, root cause analysis, flowcharts, process documentation, drawing interpretation, advanced Excel.
Six Sigma Green Belt, APQP, PFMEA, Control Plan, AIAG Core Tools, AutoCAD, ERP/MES, Power BI, Minitab, or statistical software.
Experience in automation, NPI, CAPEX projects, manufacturing cells, poka-yokes, SMED, and scrap reduction.
