Responsibilities:
- Builds and manages teams by performing financial activities to inform workforce strategy and hiring practices, setting and tracking maturity and quality objectives, and training employees/teams to address feedback and achieve quality and performance objectives
- Facilitates performance and career development of employees/teams through performance reviews, coaching, and creating development plans that are needed to build competencies and skills
- Manages solution delivery and application performance in production (app health, resiliency, performance, security, enterprise data management standards, audit exams and reviews), ensuring all relevant risk, financial, and compliance policies are met
- Manages relationships with business and technology partners and leads and creates followership in Communities of Practice in the organization
- Contributes to the technology strategy for their technical domain
- Creates an inclusive and healthy working environment and helps to resolve organizational impediments/blockers
- Ensures that execution is aligned with product strategy by working with product management and other stakeholders

Required Qualifications
- 15+ years’ experience in Banking or Financial Services Technology, preferably with deep experience in a Transaction Services / Wholesale Banking / Corporate Bank setting.
- Experience working at Tier 1/Tier 2 financial institutions.
- Demonstrated experience building and leading transformation, delivery, program, and financials management in Technology or Operations at scale, ideally across a portfolio or department.
- Experience managing both directly and through influence to drive department wide change.
- Experience working with a geographically diverse organization is required.
- Experience with SDLC / SW development processes (RUP, Agile, and Waterfall).
- Creative, detail-oriented, committed to excellence.
- Interpreting business needs and applying innovative technology solutions.
- Payments / Deposits / Core Banking / Lending Domain working knowledge.
- Manage team’s activities, assignments, project forecasts and budget.
- Motivate associates to perform at an optimal level by providing clear objects and development plans.
- Provide coaching and mentoring that promotes work-life balance, career growth and contributes to associate satisfaction.
- Work effectively in and drive a matrix organization with teams of developers, delivery leads, project managers, production management, architects, and business partners with minimal supervision.
- Express ideas verbally and in writing to effectively communicate with and influence teammates, technology partners, business leaders and executives.
- Identify risks to quickly resolve issues and conflicting priorities and influence a positive and effective outcome.
- Experience working with a geographically diverse organization required.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Agile Delivery Methodology is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in technology field is desirable
