UQ Brisbane City is looking for enthusiastic Concierge & Hospitality Attendants to deliver exceptional customer service across our premium learning and events venue in the heart of Brisbane's CBD.

From preparing great coffee and welcoming guests to supporting corporate events and creating memorable visitor experiences, no two days are the same.

This is a casual position, with staff typically working approximately 15 – 25 hours per week. Availability Monday to Friday is essential, with occasional weekend shifts as required.

While this role is primarily based at UQ Brisbane City, you may also have the opportunity to support operations across UQ's hospitality and events venues as operationally required, providing valuable exposure to a diverse range of venues and events.

Key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Welcome guests and provide exceptional customer service.

  • Prepare barista-style coffee and food and beverage service.

  • Set up meeting rooms and assist with event delivery.

  • Support event organisers throughout the day.

  • Maintain presentation of the venue and hospitality spaces.

  • Respond to Concierge enquiries and direct event enquiries appropriately.

About You

  • Experience in a similar or related hospitality role.

  • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.

  • Food Safety Certificate.

  • A genuine passion for customer service and creating positive experiences.

  • High standard of professionalism and excellent customer service skills.

  • A commitment to excellence in product and service delivery.

  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work independently.
