JOB MISSION: 

 

Under the supervision of the Country Finance Manager, the Management Accountant will be fully responsible in the preparation of financial reports and monthly management accounts for the France Wholesale Subsidiary.  

This position is based in our Paris office. 

 

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

  • Preparation of month end results including; accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.  

  • Analyse business performance, provide explanation on variances versus Budget or Forecast.  

  • Preparation of monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow for input into global reporting package (actual & forecast).  

  • Preparation of quarterly business review packs.  

  • Responsibility for specific departmental cost base tracking.  

  • Coordinate Regional monthly forecasts and annual budget.  

  • Production of ad hoc management information reporting and analysis.  

  • Ensure compliance with local accounting and tax rules.  

  • Manage the year-end audit with external auditors.  

  • Tester/user role in the ERP implementation project.  

  • Coordinate the year end statutory financial accounts with the Accounting Bureau.  

  • Act as second-in-command to the Finance Manager as required. 

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS: 

  • Bac+5 specialised in Finance. 

  • Relevant number of years' experience in an Accounting and Audit Firm. 

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. 

  • Ability to pick up new IT systems quickly – ERP change to Microsoft D365 coming up in 2027.  

  • High degree of accuracy and eye for detail. 

  • Organised, structured and able to manage priorities.  

  • Strong communication skills. 

  • Ability to adapt in line with continually evolving business needs. 

  • Knowledge and experiences within Sports / Lifestyle organisations. 

  • You are comfortable working in a demanding environment and are known for your curiosity, rigor, responsiveness and efficiency and being a great teammate.  

  • Fluent in English.
