Job Purpose:
The accounting Corporate Operations Analyst is responsible for executing core accounting activities that support the accuracy and timeliness of the monthly close and financial reporting processes. This role prepares journal entries, reconciles accounts, and maintains financial records across general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets. The Corporate Operations Analyst ensures adherence to established accounting policies and internal controls while supporting audit, compliance, and reporting requirements. This role partners with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve data quality and process efficiency.
Essential Functions:
Follows established policies and internal controls; ensures transactions are properly documented and audit ready; flags and escalates compliance issues.
Performs job cost accounting, including project tracking, revenue recognition support, and WIP preparation.
Executes month-end closing tasks including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance follow-up.
Prepares supporting schedules and reports; ensures data accuracy.
Follows processes and supports improvements.
Applies established accounting policies and procedures; escalate issues and supports documentation of technical conclusions.
Uses ERP systems to process transactions and maintain accurate data.
Prepares basic analysis and reconciliations to support decisions.
Coordinates with teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate data flow.
Executes controls and supports audit and compliance activities.
Collaborates with team and supports consistent execution.
Supports projects with assigned tasks and accurate data; participates in process improvements and system updates.

Job Requirements:
Foundational understanding of GAAP and ability to apply accounting principles in day-to-day activities.
Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate across teams and complete assigned tasks.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a structured close environment.
Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Office applications, and strong Excel skills (e.g., formula functions, v-lookup, reconciliations, data organization).
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
1-2 years progressive corporate and operations accounting experience. Construction industry preferred.
Salary range: $82,000 - $92,000
