As part of our continued growth, we are expanding our Smart Product Suite capability in Argentina. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established global team supporting customers across North America and Europe through the delivery of intelligent testing and automation solutions.
As a Test Consultant, you will lead customer engagements, provide expert guidance on Kainos Smart™, and help organisations maximise the value of their Workday testing strategy. You will combine customer consulting, business process expertise, testing knowledge, and product understanding to deliver high-quality outcomes for our customers.
You will also play an important role in supporting the growth of our Product Services capability in Argentina by mentoring colleagues, sharing expertise, and helping develop the next generation of consultants within the team.
What You'll Do
Lead Customer Engagements
- Lead the delivery of Smart™ testing solutions for customers implementing or maintaining Workday.
- Build trusted customer relationships and act as a key point of contact throughout project delivery.
- Ensure solutions are aligned to customer objectives, business requirements, and testing strategies.
- Balance customer needs, technical considerations, and commercial objectives to deliver successful outcomes.
Understand Customer Requirements
- Lead discovery and analysis activities to understand customer Workday configurations and business processes.
- Develop expertise across Workday domains including Payroll, HCM, Financials, Recruiting, and Security.
- Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, reduce risk, and increase operational efficiency.
Design & Deliver Smart™ Solutions
- Define and communicate the scope of customer test automation solutions.
- Design, build, and optimise Smart™ test packs that provide measurable value.
- Apply deep product knowledge to determine the most effective use of Smart™ capabilities within customer environments.
- Provide recommendations and guidance based on product functionality, customer objectives, and industry best practices.
Enable Customer Success
- Deliver workshops, demonstrations, training sessions, and knowledge-transfer activities.
- Support customers in building confidence and capability in their use of Smart™ solutions.
- Ensure successful transition of customers to ongoing Customer Success and support teams following implementation activities.
Contribute to Product Innovation
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to improve Smart™ capabilities.
- Identify opportunities for new features and product enhancements.
- Participate in feature validation, testing, and rollout activities.
- Share customer feedback and market insights to help shape future product development.
Support Team Growth
- Mentor and coach Associates and less experienced Consultants.
- Share knowledge and best practices across the team.
- Support onboarding, capability development, and continuous learning initiatives.
- Participate in recruitment and interviewing activities.
- Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
Essential Requirements
We're looking for someone who combines strong customer consulting skills with testing expertise and a deep understanding of enterprise business processes.
Experience
- Experience in software implementation, business analysis, quality assurance, testing, consulting, or customer-facing technology roles.
- Experience working directly with enterprise customers and managing stakeholder relationships.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, quality assurance practices, and test automation concepts.
- Experience working with cloud-based enterprise applications such as Workday, ERP, HCM, Payroll, Financial Management, CRM, or other business systems.
- Experience leading workshops, demonstrations, training sessions, and customer discussions.
- Experience mentoring, coaching, or supporting less experienced team members.
Domain Knowledge
- Experience working within payroll, HR, finance, or other enterprise business process environments.
- Strong understanding of payroll testing, payroll operations, payroll technology, or payroll implementations.
- Knowledge of payroll legislation and payroll processes in at least one of the following regions:
- United Kingdom
- United States
- Canada

Desirable Experience
- Experience with Workday Payroll, HCM, Financials, Recruiting, or Security.
- Experience with automated testing tools and test automation frameworks.
- Exposure to parallel payroll testing or payroll transformation programmes.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
- Understanding of SaaS and cloud-based product delivery models.
- Experience supporting large-scale software implementation or transformation programmes.
- Degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
