Your Role
As a first shift Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you'll provide hands-on care to residents in a designated neighborhood, which may include long-term care, skilled nursing, or memory care. You'll work alongside nurses and other members of the care team to ensure residents receive safe, respectful, and person-centered care.
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) You'll help with:
- Assisting residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating
- Helping residents safely transfer, reposition, and ambulate
- Monitoring residents and reporting changes in condition to the nursing team
- Encouraging resident independence and participation in daily routines
- Documenting care and observations accurately in the electronic medical record
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
- Following infection prevention, safety, and confidentiality standards
- Developing positive relationships with residents, families, and coworkers
What We're Looking For
We're looking for dependable, compassionate individuals who are committed to providing exceptional care.
Qualifications include:
- Active certification on the Maine Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Registry in good standing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise professional judgment
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
Schedule
Day Shift: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
- Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities available
- Most schedules include every other weekend
- Schedule may vary based on staffing needs
