Job Overview
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under supervision of Manager, Business Analysis the Senior Enterprise Solutions Partner serves as the strategic interface across the Enterprise for the collection of business technology needs, solution discovery, service management, risk management, and executive-level relationship management. Acts as a trusted, consultative partner to internal business leaders, translating strategic objectives into executable program roadmaps comprised of discrete and inter-dependent projects. Performs highly responsible, professional work independently, utilizing strong interpersonal and organizational skills, initiative, tact, and independent judgment. Demonstrates deep understanding of inter-dependent systems used in airport operations and ensures proposed solutions deliver measurable value, align to enterprise architecture, and are compatible with adjacent platforms.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides highly valued strategic consulting and advisory support for key technology initiatives; facilitate discovery, stakeholder interviews, and co-creation sessions with internal business partners.
- Leads solutioning by determining the most suitable technology and/or vendor to address known business challenges and business needs, including comparative analyses of value vs. cost, total cost of ownership (TCO), ROI, risk, and compatibility with adjacent platforms.
- Oversees the planning and discovery of digital programs by conducting research and evaluation, assessing options through fit-gap analysis, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and pilots.
- Translates enterprise strategy into executable programs: develop structured program roadmaps composed of discrete and inter-dependent projects; define dependencies, milestones, stage-gates, and acceptance criteria.
- Develops and manages program & discovery timelines, use cases, and deliverables to ensure Airport business needs are met; maintain dependency tracking and critical path visibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define program scope, objectives, success metrics, and measurable outcomes (e.g., OKRs).
- Adheres to enterprise architectural vision and systems interoperability standards; ensure proposed solutions fit within the enterprise ecosystem and operate effectively with adjacent platforms and data domains.
- Identifies risks and develop mitigation strategies (technical, operational, contractual, and cybersecurity) to ensure program success; provide risk-adjusted recommendations and escalation paths.
- Ensures compliance with organizational standards, policies, governance frameworks, and applicable industry practices for airport technology operations.
- Coordinates with external vendors on capabilities; establish evaluation criteria and negotiate statements of work (SOWs).
- Understands procurement processes and investigate acquisition pathways; create business cases, lead RFP development and vendor selection, and perform TCO/ROI modeling.

- Communicates decisions, priorities, and relevant program information to appropriate levels of staff regarding business unit requests, projects, and initiatives; produce executive-ready presentations, visuals, and narratives for senior leadership audiences.
- Mediates and negotiate expectations among executive leaders; facilitate alignment on scope, timeline, tradeoffs, and accountability; resolve competing priorities and build consensus.
- Partners with Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity, Operations, Finance, and Procurement to ensure holistic delivery and sustainable lifecycle ownership of solutions.
- Drives continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned, standardizing evaluation templates, and maturing consultative methods and governance processes.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Five (5) years of experience with business process analysis and improvement at minimum two years of consultative engagement with internal business partners, including structured discovery and stakeholder facilitation
- Possession of a valid Class C driver’s license.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of the principles, methodologies, and practices of business and public administration.
- Demonstrated skill in structuring projects from strategic objectives and managing inter-dependencies across teams or systems.
- Advanced consultative skills: stakeholder analysis, discovery facilitation, requirements elicitation, and influence without authority.
- Ability to translate strategic objectives into structured programs composed of discrete and inter-dependent projects; proficiency in dependency mapping, stage-gate governance, and benefits realization.
DESIRABLE
- Five (5) years of project management experience
- Advanced degree in business, science, or a related field.
- Experience with project management theories and principles.
- Current certification with Agile (Scrum), PMP (Project Management Professional), or Six Sigma.
- Experience in aviation/airport technology operations or other mission-critical environments; familiarity with AODB, resource/gate management, baggage systems, common-use platforms (CUPPS/CUTE), facilities/SCADA/IoT, and data integration patterns.
- Enterprise architecture (e.g., TOGAF), business analysis (CBAP), or product management certifications; training in design thinking, service design, or value engineering.
- Experience monitoring inter-dependent airport operational systems (e.g., flight/resource management, AODB, baggage systems, common-use platforms, facilities/SCADA/IoT, security operations) during solution design to minimize operational disruption and ensure end-to-end interoperability.
- Knowledge of airport operational environments and inter-dependent systems (e.g., flight/resource management, baggage, common-use platforms, facilities/SCADA/IoT, data integration), including interoperability considerations.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Airport Identification/Access Badge (badge) in accordance with Department of Homeland Security Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requirements in Chapter 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 1500 et al., and DFW Airport’s Airport Security Program within thirty (30) days from date of employment and maintain qualification for a SIDA badge upon each badge renewal.
