Costa Vida is a fast-growing restaurant brand known for fresh, made-from-scratch Mexican-inspired food. With locations across the United States, the company works closely with its restaurant network and supplier partners to ensure stores have the products and materials they need to operate successfully.

As the business continues to grow, Costa Vida is looking to strengthen its supply chain team with someone who can bring structure, accuracy, and strong day-to-day execution to purchasing, inventory, supplier coordination, and reporting.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Supply Chain Support Manager to help manage the day-to-day supply chain operations supporting Costa Vida’s restaurant network.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, inventory data, purchase orders, and suppliers. You’ll help make sure products are ordered accurately, inventory levels are monitored closely, shipments stay on track, and supply chain issues are identified and resolved quickly.

You’ll also work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to improve visibility across the supply chain, identify cost-saving opportunities, and keep operations running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has strong experience across inventory management, purchasing/procurement, supplier management, and supply chain analytics and is comfortable both owning the details and helping guide a small team.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Supply Planning

• Monitor inventory levels and product availability to help ensure adequate supply across the business.
• Review inventory movement, usage, and demand data to identify potential shortages, excess inventory, or other supply risks.
• Support forecasting and replenishment planning based on historical data and business needs.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and help reconcile incoming and outgoing product movement.

Purchasing & Order Management

• Manage and monitor purchase orders from creation through fulfillment.
• Review orders for accuracy, completeness, pricing, quantities, and delivery requirements.
• Track open orders and proactively follow up on late, missed, or incomplete shipments.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve order and fulfillment issues.

Supplier & Vendor Management

• Maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and other supply chain partners.
• Monitor supplier performance, including delivery timelines, order accuracy, pricing, and service levels.
• Escalate and resolve supplier-related issues that could impact product availability or restaurant operations.
• Support supplier negotiations and identify opportunities to improve pricing, terms, and overall supply chain efficiency.

Reporting & Analytics

• Maintain accurate supply chain reports and trackers using Excel or Google Sheets.
• Analyze inventory, purchasing, supplier, and shipment data to identify trends and operational issues.
• Develop clear reporting that gives the team visibility into supply chain performance.
• Use data to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements.

Team & Cross-Functional Support

• Help coordinate the day-to-day priorities of a small supply chain team.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure supply chain needs and issues are communicated clearly.
• Take ownership of operational problems and follow them through to resolution.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, documentation, reporting, and overall efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement/purchasing, inventory management, supply planning, or a related field.
• Previous experience leading, supervising, or mentoring supply chain team members is preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience with inventory management and purchasing/procurement.
• Experience working directly with suppliers and managing purchase orders.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with large amounts of operational data.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience with ERP, inventory management, purchasing, or supply chain systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies before they become larger operational issues.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, ownership-oriented approach.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with a US-based team.
• Comfortable working during US business hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in restaurants, food & beverage, FMCG/CPG, retail, food manufacturing, distribution, or another inventory-heavy environment.
• Experience with demand or supply planning and forecasting.
• Experience managing supplier performance and negotiating with vendors.
• Experience identifying cost-saving or process-improvement opportunities.
• Experience leading or supporting a small team of planners, analysts, buyers, or supply chain coordinators.
• Familiarity with BI or reporting tools is a plus.

The Ideal Candidate

You’re someone who likes getting into the details. You’re comfortable opening a spreadsheet, figuring out why the numbers don’t match, following up with a supplier about a late order, and making sure an issue actually gets resolved.

You can also step back and spot patterns: where inventory is running too high, where shortages may be coming, which suppliers are consistently missing expectations, and where the company may be able to reduce costs.

You don’t need a large team or layers of structure to get things done. You’re comfortable taking ownership, working independently, and helping a small team stay organized and on track.
