Director, EMEA Communications

We're looking for an experienced leader to lead our communications strategy across EMEA. This role is responsible for developing proactive programs that strengthen our brand, drive meaningful earned media coverage, elevate our leadership profiles, and advance our corporate narrative across key markets. 

As part of the global Corporate Communications team, you'll partner closely with Product Marketing, Threat Research, Customer Advocacy, Analyst Relations, regional marketing, and executives to identify compelling stories and turn them into communications programs that advance business objectives. Success in this role requires a strategic mindset, strong media instincts, exceptional storytelling, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to move quickly in a fast-paced cybersecurity environment. 

What You'll Do 

• Develop and execute an integrated communications strategy across EMEA, that supports business priorities, market growth and corporate reputation. 

• Drive impactful earned media by creating opportunities around company news, product innovation, executive thought leadership, original research, and industry trends. 

• Develop and execute executive communications and thought leadership programs that elevate regional leaders’ profiles, strengthen the company’s corporate narrative, and build credibility with priority audiences. 

• Partner closely with the global communications team to amplify threat research, rapid-response commentary, and cybersecurity insights, ensuring regional relevance and media impact. 

• Build and maintain strong relationships with top-tier business, technology, and cybersecurity media across EMEA. 

• Manage PR agencies across multiple markets, ensuring consistent execution, measurable results, and alignment with global messaging. 

• Serve as a trusted communications advisor to regional executives and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Marketing, Analyst Relations, Social Media, and Field Marketing. 

What You'll Bring 

• 10+ years of experience in corporate communications or public relations, preferably in enterprise technology or cybersecurity. 

• Proven success developing strategic communications programs that generate high-impact earned media across EMEA. 

• Outstanding storyteller with the ability to translate complex technology, data, and research into compelling narratives. 

• Proven experience advising and preparing senior executives for media, speaking engagements, and thought leadership opportunities, with strong judgment on reputation and corporate positioning. 

• Experience supporting proactive communications strategies as well as rapid-response media opportunities. 

• Strong relationships with business, technology, and cybersecurity journalists across Europe. 

• Experience managing external PR agencies and driving measurable business outcomes. 

• Collaborative, low ego, and highly effective at building partnerships across global teams. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience in cybersecurity, networking, cloud, or enterprise software. 

• Experience working in a high-growth, global technology company. 

• Experience leading communications across multiple EMEA markets, with a strong understanding of regional media landscapes and cultural nuances. 

• Experience shaping corporate narratives and reputation-building programs, including executive visibility and issues management.  

• Experience supporting high-stakes corporate communications, such as major business milestones, market expansion, M&A, organizational change, or sensitive issues.  

• Familiarity with cybersecurity threat intelligence, incident response, or communicating technical research to non-technical audiences.  

• Experience using media measurement and analytics to assess impact, communicate results, and inform future strategy.
