About the Role

BOQ is investing in the next generation of knowledge, data and AI capabilities, and this newly created leadership role will play a pivotal role in that journey.

As Head of Knowledge Intelligence, you will establish and lead the enterprise capability responsible for transforming BOQ's collective knowledge into a strategic asset. You will shape how knowledge is governed, structured, accessed and trusted across the organisation, creating the foundations that enable people and AI-powered experiences to deliver better decisions, greater productivity and stronger customer outcomes.

This role offers a unique opportunity to influence one of the most important shifts occurring in modern organisations: the move from simply managing information to enabling intelligent, trusted and scalable knowledge. Working at the intersection of business, technology and AI, you will define the strategy, operating model and roadmap for an enterprise capability that will underpin future copilots, assistants and knowledge experiences across the Group.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams spanning knowledge management, semantic architecture, retrieval and search, and knowledge adoption, while partnering with senior leaders across technology, risk, compliance and the business to ensure knowledge remains a trusted source of competitive advantage.

About You

You bring experience leading enterprise-scale knowledge, information, data or AI capabilities within complex environments, together with the ability to influence across business, technology and risk stakeholders.

You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach and are equally comfortable discussing business outcomes, governance, architecture and emerging AI technologies.

You will have experience in areas such as enterprise knowledge management, information architecture, taxonomy and ontology design, knowledge graphs, AI-enabled search and retrieval, or related disciplines. Experience operating in regulated environments and navigating privacy, security and responsible AI considerations will be highly regarded.

Most importantly, you are a collaborative leader who champions continuous learning, and brings the judgement and curiosity needed to help organisations realise the full value of their knowledge assets.
