For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:
- 5+ years of experience as a Platform Engineer
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation, including authoring and maintaining reusable templates for governance and base configuration enforcement
- Demonstrated ability to administer core AWS services — S3, Glue, Redshift, Lake Formation, DataZone, MWAA, and Step Functions — in a platform engineering or consulting context
- Strong command of identity and access management through IAM Identity Center, Entra ID Federation, and RBAC, including role and group administration and participation in access reviews
- Working knowledge of Data Governance practices such as metadata standards, data lineage, and data product publishing workflows within platforms like DataZone
- Ability to implement and maintain operational controls including monitoring, alerting, logging, incident management, operational automation, and release management, with delivery aligned to SDLC standards
- Fluency in English (C1 Level)
- Availability for remote model, based in Portugal (candidates must already be based in Portugal, with Portuguese or EU citizenship or a valid work permit)
