As our Laboratory Assistant you will play a critical role in supporting our clinical operations by ensuring the accurate handling, processing, and analysis of patient specimens. You will work closely with our medical technologists and clinical laboratory scientists to maintain regulatory compliance and high-quality standards. This is an essential position for detail-oriented professionals who are passionate about patient safety and contributing to the efficiency of a fast-paced diagnostic environment.

 

Every day you will manage the lifecycle of laboratory specimens, from proper patient identification and labeling to aliquoting and loading samples onto high-tech instrumentation. Your routine will involve conducting department support tasks—such as culture plating and histology staining—while monitoring supply inventories, performing routine equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting any technical or specimen-related issues. Additionally, you may perform phlebotomy for all age groups and execute CLIA-waived or moderately complex testing, ensuring all results are validated against strict quality control protocols.
