Job Summary: As the Warehouse Manager, you'll oversee all purchasing, receiving, warehouse, distribution, and inventory operations for Oasis at Death Valley, ensuring products and supplies are delivered accurately and efficiently across the property. You'll lead daily warehouse operations, manage a team, and partner with departments throughout the resort to maintain inventory accuracy, proper stock levels, and seamless product flow. This role also supports retail inventory operations, helping ensure merchandise is effectively tracked, replenished, and available to meet the needs of both guests and employees.

Responsibilities
- Must be able to demonstrate professional and courteous behaviors with all guests and employees.
- Select, train, schedule, and supervise warehouse staff.
- Oversee the efficient and effective use and maintenance of the Cloudsuite and Mi9 systems.
- Implement and maintain proper security and internal controls for purchasing, receiving, and transfer functions with warehouse inventory.
- Oversee and provide support for all warehouse operations to ensure accurate receiving, storage, distribution, and inventory management of merchandise.
- Learn, maintain proficiency in, and support the use of the Mi9 Retail System for inventory management, purchasing, reporting, and retail operational needs.
- Partner with Retail and other departmental managers to ensure inventory accuracy, proper stock levels, and effective merchandise replenishment across all locations.
- Assist with all inventory counts, reconciliations, and variance investigations as needed.
- Ensure all inventory processes and controls comply with company policies and procedures.
- Provide reporting, analysis, and recommendations related to retail inventory performance, stock levels, and inventory optimization.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with corporate purchasing and property departments.
- Ensure adherence to company-wide purchasing policies and procedures.
- Review and evaluate purchases to ensure quality materials from reliable sources in the most efficient manner at the best prices.
- Develop and implement a JIT (Just in Time) purchasing/inventory process to help ensure maximum storage usage and minimize carrying value of the inventory.
- Develop and ensure appropriate par levels are maintained and rotate stock in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications.
- Submit timely reports to management as needed concerning price trends, availability, and recommendations for the development of new or substitute materials.
- Develop and implement procedures for identifying slow-moving and obsolete inventory items and make recommendations regarding the use and/or disposal of such items.
- Review purchase requests, analyze bids/quotes and determine and/or approve the method of purchase.
- Develop and maintain purchasing and warehouse policies and procedures.
- Oversee the receiving and distribution functions to ensure the accuracy of orders and quality of merchandise.
- Implement and maintain effective and efficient tracking and storage of products.
- Track inventories and notify appropriate departments of re-order status.
- Plan and conduct regularly scheduled inventories of the warehouse.
- Maintain and update all departmental order guides regularly to ensure accurate items are reflected and ordered by the department through appropriate systems.
- Complete annual reviews for all assigned personnel and conduct corrective action as needed.
- Assist on special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s license
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred.
- 2 years operations management experience preferred.
- 1 years purchasing, logistics/distribution and warehouse operations experience.
- Excellent PC skills to include Microsoft Office applications (strong Excel experience) and experience with, or the ability to learn, the Cloudsuite purchasing/inventory system.
- Strong leadership, analytical and organizational skills demonstrated in a fast-paced customer-oriented environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with other departments.
