Job Description

 

​Responsibilities

• Manage tax compliance for operating units, including corporate tax, indirect tax, transfer pricing and foreign tax
• Review tax returns, tax computations, transfer pricing documentation, and related schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Prepare tax advisory support on business transactions and identify tax planning opportunities to optimize tax outcomes
• Assess and manage tax risks and recommend practical solutions to support business objectives
• Lead tax audits, investigations, appeals and engagements with tax authorities and external advisors
• Provide technical guidance to tax and finance teams and drive continuous process improvements
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of tax-related matters and reporting requirements
• Maintain tax data and support tax analytics initiatives

 

Requirements

• Degree/Professional qualification in Finance/Accountancy or other related courses
• At least 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in a large corporate environment and/ or professional services firm
• Strong technical knowledge of Malaysian taxation, including corporate tax, indirect tax, transfer pricing and international tax matters
• Experience in managing tax audits, disputes, and stakeholder engagements
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

 

Preferred

• Experience in tax data analytics, e-invoicing, and tax transformation initiatives
• Experience in managing tax matters across multiple entities and jurisdictions within a large corporate group
