As part of the Assurance Risk Management team, you will support engagement teams in navigating risk, quality and compliance requirements and help ensure the consistent application of professional standards and internal policies.

Make a real impact

• Support the review of engagement acceptance and continuance matters and other relevant risk considerations.

• Review engagement letters, proposals and related contractual documentation, identify deviations from approved terms and escalate significant issues appropriately.

• Support the assessment of risk management consultations and prepare clear, well-supported documentation and draft recommendations in line with applicable professional standards and internal policies.

• Monitor compliance with risk management procedures, maintain accurate records and contribute to periodic reporting, quality reviews and remediation follow-up.

• Research relevant regulatory, professional and internal policy developments and prepare summaries of the practical implications.

• Work closely with engagement teams and subject-matter specialists, responding to day-to-day queries and communicating risk requirements clearly and pragmatically.

• Support risk management training and awareness initiatives and contribute to the consistent application of policies across the business.

• Take ownership of assigned tasks and defined workstreams, seeking guidance, and escalating complex or sensitive matters appropriately.

What you bring matters

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or another relevant field.

• Two to three years of relevant professional experience in external or internal audit, assurance risk management, compliance or quality, preferably within a Big 4 or corporate environment.

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including experience organising and analysing data using logical and lookup formulas (IF, SUMIF/SUMIFS, COUNTIF/COUNTIFS, XLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH), PivotTables, filters, conditional formatting and data validation tools.

• Experience maintaining trackers, reconciliations and management reports, with the ability to identify exceptions, trends and incomplete or inconsistent data. 

• Sound analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to translate findings into clear, practical recommendations.

• Ability to understand and apply policies, procedures and professional or regulatory requirements, and to document conclusions clearly and consistently.

• Very good written and verbal communication skills in English and Greek, together with confidence collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders at different levels.

• Strong organization and time-management skills, with the ability to take ownership, manage competing priorities and deliver accurate work within deadlines.
