Fueling your passion

The Operator 4 is responsible for assembling and wiring cabinets in accordance with engineering drawings, and work instructions. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work with hand and power tools, and a commitment to quality and safety.

As an Operator 4, you will be responsible for:

• Assembling electrical control cabinets and panels according to engineering drawing and wiring diagrams

• Installing components such as relays, circuit breakers, terminal blocks, and wiring.

• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, layout drawings.

• Maintaining a clean and organized work area following safety protocols

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have High school diploma or equivalent required

• Have previous experience in electrical assembly, panel wiring, or similar manufacturing environment preferred

• Have ability to read and interpret drawings

• Have familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments

• Have basic understanding of electrical components and wiring practices

• Have experience with industrial control panels or electrical cabinet assembly

• Have strong attention to detail and quality workmanship

• Have good communication and teamwork skills

Physical Requirements:

• Have ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds regularly

• Have ability to stand, bend, and work for extended periods

• Have manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for detailed work

• Have ability to work in a manufacturing environment (may include noise, dust, and varying temperatures)

Work Environment

This position operates in a production/manufacturing environment and requires adherence to all safety guidelines and procedures.

Steel/ composite shoes required, safety glasses required.

The hourly pay scale for this position is between $20.71 - $34.49.

Candidates for this role (office-based) must be located in or near the locations displayed above. The pay range/scale displayed above represents Baker Hughes' good-faith estimate of the minimum and maximum pay for this position at the time of posting and applies to the possible locations for this position. Baker Hughes will issue a non-bias competitive offer; the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hires. Full-time salaries in some U.S. locations may not include equity or benefits.

Where an applicant ultimately falls within the pay range/scale depends on a variety of factors, including geographic work location, skillset, qualifications, internal pay alignment, level of experience, and demonstrated performance over time.
