The Global Patriot team within LADS Strategic Business Unit of Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Finance professional to assume the role of Financial Planning & Analysis Lead (P4) for the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) GEM-T program area. This position will support the 1000 Lot New Build program, Germany 100 Lot, Germany 300 Lot, and Poland 200 Lot programs, with potential for future awards. The GEM-T portfolio is growing rapidly and will provide a tremendous opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to contribute to a dynamic and critical program area.

The selected candidate will have exposure to various functional senior leaders and will work closely with the NSPA GEM-T Program Director, Integrated Product Team Leads, Engineering Business Analysts, Planning & Scheduling, and functional support leads on making sound financial, contractual, and resource decisions for NSPA GEM-T Programs. This candidate will also work across the Global Patriot portfolio to help manage the entire GEM-T financial forecast. In this fast-paced business environment, the selected candidate must excel at multi-tasking, effective and influential communication, innovative problem solving, and must have a firm understanding of financial principles common to the aerospace and defense industry.

This role is being offered in a hybrid capacity (onsite & remote) in one of these locations: Tewksbury, MA; Tucson, AZ; Huntsville, AL or McKinney, TX. Relocation assistance is not being provided.

What You Will Do

  • Be a trusted business partner with all internal and external program stakeholders to drive excellence in financial strategy and execution

  • Develop and present to leadership Long Range and Annual Operating Plans that align with product area strategy and investment plans that project an accurate projection of future financial results

  • Lead the update, analysis, and presentation of monthly current year financial forecasts that will inform product area leadership of status against plan

  • Work with stakeholders across the product area to document and update financial risks and opportunities

  • Participate in new business growth meetings and incorporate new booking opportunities into the financial plan along with related Sales, Profit, and Cash impacts

  • Work with programs to ensure billing deadlines are met and monitor and support updates for cash receipts critical to the business

  • Support business case development for investment requests related to inventory and build inventory impacts into financial plans and forecasts

  • Work across the GP portfolio to develop a total GEM-T financial forecast


What You Will Learn

  • How to successfully manage and lead the financial planning of a large and complex product area spanning various products, customers, and program teams.

  • How unique contract circumstances such as Foreign Exchange (FX) exposure and joint ventures (COMLOG) impact financial metrics

  • How various cash collection methods across different customers are managed and modeled in the forecast


Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related field & a minimum of 8 years finance experience; OR an Advanced degree and a minimum of 5 years finance experience

  • Experience with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) concepts, systems, and/or processes, particularly RPlan

  • Experience interfacing with senior level management and/or customers, including formal presentations

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

  • Self-starter with the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and be able to lead and support teams in a dynamic ever-changing environment

  • Proficiency with tools such as SAP and Microsoft Excel, Power Point and other MS Office apps

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
