Are you looking for morning hours in Annandale?  We have an immediate opening for a 4 hour shift Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Opportunity for this to grow to 12 hours a day with the right compassionate career oriented Care Professional.  Experience with Parkinsons  is required.  Additional training will be provided.  Terrific chance to use your skills and make a difference for someone that needs you.

Responsibilities

• Help with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Provide redirection and activity support for sundowning 

• Assist with personal care and hygiene

• Help with completing physical therapy and other recommended exercise

• Complete shopping or accompany clients when they shop if needed

• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members

• Report any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors and family members 

• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Requirements:

• Previous caregiver experience preferred 

• Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification

• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards, including those outlined by the CDC in relation to COVID-19

• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints

• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner

• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills

• Physical endurance to complete required tasks 

• Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license

• High school diploma or equivalent
