Responsabilità e qualifiche

What awaits you:

As part of the Continuous Improvement and Standardization Team, you will support the implementation and evolution of the Novelis Operating System (NOS), contributing to operational excellence initiatives across the plant.

You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in manufacturing excellence, process optimization and data-driven decision making while working closely with cross-functional teams.

 

Your main activities will include:

• Supporting the review, simplification and standardization of operational procedures, work instructions and management systems
• Contributing to the rationalization and harmonization of existing standards to improve efficiency and usability across departments
• Collecting, analyzing and interpreting operational data to identify improvement opportunities and support decision making
• Developing reports, dashboards and visual management tools using Microsoft Office applications and Power BI
• Supporting Continuous Improvement projects through data analysis, KPI monitoring and performance tracking
• Assisting in the preparation of presentations, training materials and communication campaigns related to NOS initiatives
• Collaborating with different functional teams to promote best practices and operational excellence principles
• Participating in workshops, audits, meetings and shopfloor activities related to Continuous Improvement and Standardization

What You Will Learn

 

During this internship, you will have the opportunity to:

• Understand how a world-class manufacturing system is implemented in an industrial environment
• Learn Continuous Improvement methodologies inspired by Lean Manufacturing and World Class Manufacturing
• Develop advanced data analysis and reporting skills
• Gain exposure to change management, standardization and operational excellence practices
• Collaborate with experienced professionals within manufacturing, engineering and operations teams
• Build practical experience in Power BI, KPI deployment and performance management systems

How you convince us: 

• You are currently pursuing or have recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Management Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Operations Management or a related field, with an interest in manufacturing excellence and continuous improvement
• You have a strong analytical mindset and enjoy working with data

• You have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• You have basic knowledge of Power BI and an interest in business intelligence and data visualization
• You are proactive, detail-oriented and eager to learn in a dynamic manufacturing environment
• You possess good communication and teamwork skills
• Italian native speaker and good knowledge of English
