Summer 2027 Wealth Management Technology Internship

What is the opportunity?

We are actively seeking Software Development interns to support RBC’s US Wealth Management Technology functions. Our Internship Program is a great opportunity to gain valuable work experience to complement your education. In addition to working with one of RBC’s US Wealth Management Technology teams, the program includes career development, networking opportunities, exposure to senior leadership, learning sessions and social outings.

 

The 2027 program is based in Minneapolis, MN and runs from June 07, 2027 – August 27, 2027.

 

 

What do you need to succeed?

• Must be a Sophomore, Junior, or in a Masters program (graduation date December 2027 – May 2029) with a major in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Data Science, or other technology-related disciplines
• Ability to work full time in the Minneapolis, MN office for the duration of the internship
• Working knowledge of application technologies such as but not limited to:
• Programming Languages & Frameworks: Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, Spring Boot, .NET, Node.js, React, and Vue.JS
• Enterprise & Data Technologies: Kafka, Microsoft SQL Server, Salesforce, IBM DB2, Snowflake, SingleStore, MuleSoft, API Development (Rest and GraphQL)
• DevOps & Infrastructure: Docker, GitHub, Azure, AWS
• AI Development Tools: Copilot, Devin, Claude Code, Factory.AI. and WatsonX

• Strong technical, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, take initiative and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• A commitment to professional development
• Interest in financial services industry

The expected salary for the above position is $20-$30 an hour, depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status, market conditions and business needs.
