# About this opportunity
We are looking for a Software Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of automated testing solutions for applications built with different technologies.
In this role, you will primarily work with Java for test automation, developing reliable, maintainable, and scalable automated tests and frameworks. You will collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, manual QA engineers, and automation engineers to ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
The role offers the opportunity to work with modern test automation practices and CI/CD pipelines while contributing to increased automated test coverage, improved test stability, reduced regression testing time, and overall product quality.
## What you will do
- Design, develop, maintain, and improve automated tests using Java.
- Build and maintain scalable and reusable test automation frameworks.
- Develop automated test scenarios using Selenium WebDriver and Cucumber.
- Create and maintain BDD feature files, scenarios, step definitions, and reusable test components.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Execute and maintain functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end automated tests.
- Investigate unexpected test failures, identify root causes, and support troubleshooting and debugging activities.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Improve automated test coverage, execution efficiency, and test stability.
- Contribute to reducing escaped defects through effective and reliable test automation.
- Adapt automation solutions to changing requirements, different application technologies, and complex end-to-end scenarios.
- Use Git for version control and collaborative development.
## You will bring
- Practical experience with Java-based test automation.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
- Experience with Cucumber and BDD concepts, including feature files, scenarios, step definitions, and reusable test components.
- Experience with Jenkins and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Good understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Ability to design maintainable, reliable, and scalable automation frameworks.
- Good knowledge of Git and basic debugging skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to investigate technical issues and unexpected test failures.
- Ability to work effectively with changing requirements and complex scenarios.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills in a cross-functional environment.
