Job Description & Summary

The Opportunity

As a Digital Assurance Intern, you will engage in a dynamic learning environment, gaining exposure to PwC's practices and methodologies. You will support teams in delivering trusted services that enhance confidence in financial reporting and decision-making. This role offers the chance to observe and participate in projects that uphold transparency, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements, allowing you to contribute to driving businesses forward.

As an Intern, you will focus on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices, performing basic tasks, and conducting research while observing professional work environments. You will be encouraged to ask questions, take initiative, and produce quality work that adds value for our clients and contributes to our team’s success. This role emphasizes the importance of adopting a learning mindset and taking ownership of your development, appreciating diverse perspectives, and actively listening to understand and express ideas clearly.

In this role within our Assurance practice, you will have the opportunity to support teams and participate in projects, focusing on learning and gaining exposure to PwC practices. You will perform basic tasks and conduct research while observing professional work environments, establishing your personal brand and paving the way to more opportunities.

Responsibilities

- Supporting audit teams in conducting independent evaluations of financial reporting
- Participating in the application of auditing methodologies to assess compliance with regulatory requirements
- Observing and learning from experienced auditors to gain insights into digital assurance practices
- Assisting in the development and deployment of cloud engineering solutions to enhance audit processes
- Engaging in basic tasks and research to contribute to the team's success in client support
- Applying a learning mindset to understand and implement compliance and governance protocols
- Collaborating with team members to uphold transparency and integrity in financial assessments
- Utilizing artificial intelligence platforms to support machine learning and data analysis initiatives

What You Must Have

- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Information Technology
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or the educational requirements for licensure as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
