Technical Project Leader
Open app The role of Technical Project Leader (TPL) plays a crucial role in driving technical innovation within an organization. The responsible for leading the development of next generation products, processes, and value-added services. From conceptualization to proof-of-concept, works closely with R&D, marketing, and cross-functional teams to transform ideas into impactful solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Technology Research & Innovation Scouting: Identify emerging technologies and trends in the area of AI, IoT, Machine Learning, Blockchain, relevant to the business. Conduct feasibility studies and proof-of-concept (PoC) experiments. Engage with startups, research institutions, and industry partners for collaboration.
- Lead Innovation Projects: Manage projects from ideation to delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals. Lead and manage innovative technical projects from ideation to implementation. Develop project roadmaps, timelines, and budgets. Ensure cross-functional collaboration between R&D, engineering, IT, and business teams. Implement agile or other innovation methodologies (e.g., design thinking, lean startup).
- Technical Expertise & Problem Solving: Provide technical guidance and expertise on new technologies. Solve complex technical challenges related to innovation projects. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Stakeholder Communication & Change Management: Translate complex technical concepts into clear business insights. Communicate project progress and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders. Train and support teams in adopting innovative solutions. Advocate for a culture of innovation within the organization.
- Performance Evaluation & Continuous Improvement: Oversee engineering and R&D outputs, ensuring high-quality execution within deadlines. Measure the impact and success of innovation projects. Identify areas for improvement and scaling successful innovations. Capture lessons learned and refine processes for future projects.
Qualification :
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5–10 years of Experience in product R&D or process engineering/industrialization.
- Expertise in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall methodologies.
- Ability to guide teams and balance technical & business needs.
- Analytical mindset to tackle complex technical challenges.
- Ability to align tech strategies with company goals.
- Excellent communication, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset.
- Fluent in Thai and English.
