Custom Filters Direct is hiring an experienced Industrial Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance function and support a growing, increasingly automated manufacturing operation.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can lead technicians, strengthen preventive maintenance, troubleshoot complex equipment issues, reduce downtime, and improve overall equipment reliability.

Employees are also eligible for a $50 attendance bonus each week with no missed time — potentially an additional $2,600 per year.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance team
• Build and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Establish maintenance procedures, documentation, equipment history, and best practices
• Troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment, including pleaters, conveyors, and other production machinery
• Diagnose PLC-controlled equipment, electrical systems, VFDs, motors, sensors, relays, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems
• Perform root cause analysis on equipment failures and recurring downtime
• Partner with Production to improve equipment uptime and manufacturing efficiency
• Prioritize repairs, maintenance schedules, projects, and equipment upgrades
• Manage spare parts, vendors, contractors, and maintenance resources
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and maintenance procedures
• Build a proactive maintenance culture focused on reliability, accountability, and continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance and leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience leading maintenance technicians, leads, or supervisors
• Strong experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled automated equipment
• Preventive maintenance program development and management experience
• Strong troubleshooting knowledge of:
  • PLCs and automation
  • Electrical systems
  • VFDs
  • Motors, sensors, and relays
  • Hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Mechanical systems
  • Conveyors and production equipment
• Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

• Allen-Bradley PLC experience
• CMMS experience
• Lean Manufacturing, TPM, or Continuous Improvement experience
• Experience in a high-volume automated manufacturing environment

Schedule

1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

Additional hours or overtime may be required based on production and maintenance needs.
