Description
Digital Journey Optimisation Manager, Everyday Banking
(Digital Publishing & Optimisation)
12-month fixed-term contract / secondment | Full time | Sydney | 50% Office attendance
You're a digital publishing and optimisation specialist with a passion for delivering high-quality web experiences — blending content delivery with experimentation, personalisation and analytics to connect with customers through relevant, contextual messaging across our digital assets.
See yourself in our team
Retail Banking Services (RBS) is the public face of CommBank, serving 10 million+ personal and small business customers. This role sits in the Acquisition, Engagement and Retention Crew within the Everyday Banking Domain, supporting the Acquisition & Origination Value Stream.
This 12-month opportunity spans digital publishing for the Everyday Banking domain and digital optimisation across the CommBank website. You'll support our publishing pipeline, experimentation, optimisation and go-to-market activities as required. We're a curious, agile team that values experimentation and continuous learning.
Do work that matters
As a Digital Journey Optimisation Manager, you'll combine hands-on digital publishing with an optimisation and analytics mindset — publishing high-quality, compliant web content while identifying opportunities to lift engagement, conversion and search visibility, and improve the customer experience. You'll play a critical role in shaping customer-facing experiences across our digital channels through publishing and ongoing journey optimisation. You'll also have the opportunity to shape and deliver communications to customers in the CommBank app and NetBank.
On any given week, you'll:
- Own the end-to-end digital publishing of web, CommBank app and NetBank content — building and updating pages using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), ensuring quality, accuracy and compliance across the customer journey.
- Partner with marketing, product, content and digital UX teams to deliver website updates, go-to-market activities and campaign content to schedule.
- Run experimentation and optimisation across the website — from hypothesis creation and A/B testing through to execution, post-live monitoring and analysis using Adobe Target and the Adobe Experience Platform.
- Optimise content to improve discoverability across traditional search and AI/generative engines (SEO and GEO), driving better customer outcomes.
- Build and maintain Adobe Analytics dashboards, reporting frameworks and tagging strategies to enable ongoing measurement, insight and optimisation.
- Prepare reporting, deep-dive analysis and presentations that translate performance and insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
We're interested in people who have:
- Proven experience in digital publishing / content delivery, ideally with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or a similar CMS.
- Strong capability in experimentation and digital optimisation (A/B testing, hypothesis development and results interpretation).
- Strength in creating Adobe Analytics dashboards, reporting and insights — turning digital data into meaningful recommendations.
- A clear customer focus with a keen eye for content quality, accuracy and compliance.
- Exceptional communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- Flexibility to balance hands-on publishing and delivery with strategic optimisation thinking in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Experience with SEO/GEO and the wider Adobe Experience Platform (Adobe Target, RT-CDP) — highly regarded.
