  • Assist with invoice and purchase-order discrepancies and work with internal and external partners to resolve issues.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records and ensure system information is current and reliable.
  • Collaborate with production, warehouse, shipping, purchasing, and management teams to resolve material and inventory issues.
  • Provide timely communication regarding changes in material availability, supplier performance, and inventory conditions.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts related to purchasing, inventory accuracy, material flow, and production support.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to analyze inventory and purchasing information and identify discrepancies or potential issues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with suppliers and cross-functional internal teams.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and respond effectively to changing production requirements.
  • Proficiency with computers and business/ERP systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, or material planning.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and material flow.
  • Experience working with suppliers and resolving delivery or purchasing issues.
  • Understanding of inventory management concepts, including inventory accuracy, material availability, and inventory turns.

  • Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to investigate material shortages, inventory variances, and supplier issues and develop practical solutions.
