RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the manager or supervisor in coordinating the activities of medical wires operators, cleaning, assembling, and disassembling customers' medical wires.
- Ensure that the work area has the support of the other departments as required.
- Have materials and tools ready for medical wire operators to begin the job.
- Coordination with medical wire operators to comply with work priorities and schedules.
- Coordination or assist in the transfer of the racks with the material in process to the next work center, with the help of a colleague to avoid the movement of the medical wires.
- Verify that medical wire operators comply with work instructions.
- Check and inspect operations periodically to verify that standards are being met.
- Maintain a close watch on manufacturing operations by regularly reviewing reports, meetings, personnel observation, improper operations, defective equipment, defective materials, and questionable conditions, etc.
- Responsibility to inform the production manager or supervisor of any accident and to file any reports on time.
- Ability to work on production orders, drawings, tables, and verbal or written information.
- Ability to recognize and deal with priorities.
- Meet monthly goals.
- Record all operations in the corresponding ERP system.
- Perform other work-related duties that may be assigned by the Manager or Supervisor immediately.
- Lead by example by adhering to the PCCI fundamentals, so that others will follow.
- Follow the steps of the customers' drawings to prepare the wires for the assembly and installation of the parts.
- Use basic measuring tools if necessary.
- Verify that all measuring equipment has the calibration label up to date and that it is in good condition.
- Record all operations in the corresponding ERP system.
- Responsible for complying with and applying ISO 13485, 14001 and 50001 Policies.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience: 1 year of experience in production leadership in manufacturing, manufacturing, or medical industries.
- Bachelor's degree in secondary education or Technician in Process Operation is required.
- Certification of basic computer knowledge.
- Good verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
PERSONAL PROTECTION EQUIPMENT:
- Safety glasses are required in designated areas.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee must regularly use the hand and fingers to manipulate parts. Must be able to speak and hear. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. The employee is required to walk, reach with hands and arms, and occasionally sit and bend over. It requires frequent mental and visual attention to detail, as well as hand coordination. Must be able to periodically lift attachments from 10 to 40 pounds.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Employee must be able to read and interpret documents written in Spanish. Employees must be able to have good communication with fellow employees, supervisors, and management.
