Job Purpose
The Casino Dealer is responsible for conducting casino table games in a professional, efficient and entertaining manner, ensuring an exceptional guest experience while maintaining game integrity, accuracy and compliance with company policies, procedures and gaming regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct table games in accordance with company standards and gaming procedures.
- Ensure all games are operated fairly, accurately and efficiently.
- Create a positive and engaging gaming atmosphere for guests.
- Explain game rules and procedures to guests when required.
- Handle gaming chips, cash equivalents and gaming equipment responsibly.
- Perform opening, closing and table inventory procedures.
- Monitor game activity and report any irregularities to supervisors.
- Maintain accuracy in payouts, collections and chip transactions.
- Deliver outstanding guest service and build positive guest relationships.
- Promote casino activities, tournaments and onboard gaming events.
- Maintain knowledge of casino products, services and promotions.
- Collaborate with casino team members and management to achieve operational goals.
- Comply with all gaming regulations, company policies and internal controls.
- Follow all health, safety and security procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
- High School Diploma required.
- Previous experience as a Casino Dealer in a casino or onboard cruise vessels preferred.
- Knowledge of one or more table games (Blackjack, Roulette, Poker, Ultimate Texas Hold'em or similar).
- Strong mathematical and cash-handling skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Cruise industry experience is an advantage.
Languages
- Fluent English (B2 level or above).
- An additional language among Italian, French, Spanish or German is preferred.
