Senior Inventory Support
Location: Dubai, DIP. Will be required to travel to their Abu Dhabi office once/few times a week.
We are hiring a Senior Inventory Support professional to support day-to-day inventory operations, ERP accuracy, stock reconciliation, reporting, and inventory controls within a manufacturing environment.
This role is based in Dubai & Abu Dhabi and requires regular travel between warehouse and production locations.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Inventory Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4–7 years of relevant experience in inventory, warehouse, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
- Manufacturing industry experience is mandatory.
- Candidates from a chemical manufacturing setup or similar process-manufacturing environment will be highly preferred.
- Strong experience in inventory transactions, stock reconciliation, inventory controls, and documentation.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, or similar platforms.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and data analysis.
- Experience in physical stock counting and cycle count processes.
- Experience managing inventory across multiple production sites is preferred.
- Valid UAE driving licence is required.
- Ability and willingness to travel between warehouse and production locations as operationally required.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, communication skills, and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily inventory activities for raw materials, packaging materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods.
- Ensure all stock receipts, issues, transfers, returns, and adjustments are accurately recorded in the ERP system.
- Monitor inventory transactions and follow up on pending, incomplete, duplicate, or incorrect entries.
- Coordinate with Warehouse, Production, Procurement, Finance, and Logistics teams to ensure accurate and timely movement of materials.
- Perform regular reconciliation between physical stock and ERP records.
- Investigate stock variances, identify root causes, and prepare variance reports with supporting documentation.
- Support monthly inventory closing and reconciliation activities.
- Coordinate and support scheduled physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Prepare count sheets, record physical count differences, and ensure reconciliations are completed within agreed timelines.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports, dashboards, and management updates.
- Monitor and report on inventory accuracy, stock movements, adjustments, pending transactions, cycle-count status, and slow-/non-moving inventory.
- Maintain accurate records for goods receipts, material issues, transfers, returns, and stock adjustments.
- Ensure all inventory adjustments have the required approvals and supporting documentation.
- Support internal and external audits by providing inventory reports and documentation as required.
- Maintain ERP master-data accuracy, including item codes, descriptions, units of measurement, and warehouse locations.
- Identify process gaps and support improvements to inventory controls, reporting, automation, SOPs, and work instructions.
