Software & Information Platforms manages the technical configuration, design, administration, development, implementation and support of application and information frameworks that the organization's application solutions utilize. This job family partners with Application Development & Maintenance teams and other Information Technology function teams to identify ehancements for platforms and long-term capabilities.
Job Summary
The Manager, ServiceNow Data Team is responsible for leading the governance, support, and continuous improvement of ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, Common Service Data Model (CSDM), Enterprise Architecture (EA) Workspace, Reporting & Analytics, and AI-driven automation capabilities. This role ensures the delivery of accurate, trusted, and actionable IT data that supports operational excellence, service management, enterprise architecture, and strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage the ServiceNow Data Team, including global teams(US, Manilla and India)
- Govern and maintain the ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, integrity, and compliance.
- Oversee ServiceNow Discovery operations, including MID Servers, discovery schedules, credential management, and CI reconciliation.
- Drive adoption, governance, and maturity of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
- Manage the Enterprise Architecture Workspace, including application inventory, ownership, lifecycle management, technology standards, and application rationalization initiatives.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, metrics, and executive reporting related to CMDB health, discovery coverage, application portfolio management, and data quality.
- Define and execute AI Agent and automation strategies within ServiceNow and IT Operations to improve efficiencies, enhance data quality, reduce manual effort, and improve user experience.
- Partner with Infrastructure, Enterprise Architecture, Application Owners, ITSM, Security, and business stakeholders to establish data governance, service mapping, and reporting standards.
- Lead roadmap initiatives, continuous improvement efforts, and platform enhancements across ServiceNow data management capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL best practices, audit requirements, and organizational governance standards.
Qualifications
- 8-12 years of experience, preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams, including offshore resources preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL processes, configuration management, enterprise architecture, and data governance preferred.
- Experience implementing AI, automation, and analytics solutions within ServiceNow preferred.
