Saint Luke’s East Hospital is currently seeking an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician.
This position will give you a lot of variety in your work each week. You will assist with filling automated dispensing cabinets and delivering medications to various units within the hospital. You will have the opportunity to perform IV Sterile Compounding, Unit Dose Packaging, Fill First Doses and assist with Medical Storage. This is a customer facing position where you will support various hospital staff members and process requests.
Shift Details: Part-time evening pharmacy technician 20 hours per week. Schedule includes working evenings during the week and every other weekend.
Position details:
- Part-time evening pharmacy technician 20 hours per week. . Evening shifts are 1:30pm to 10pm and weekends are 8 hour shifts with rotating start times between 7am and 12:30pm.
- Pick, fill and deliver medication orders and Omnicell stock to appropriate locations
- Fill first doses for new orders for patients
- Prepack drugs and compound medications including sterile products, chemotherapy, and special dosage forms (topicals, oral liquids, etc.)
- Assist with maintaining stock supplies in pharmacy department as needed
- Answer the phone/ front window, and assist with questions and requests
- Attend all department and technician meetings
- Complete projects as needed that improve service and/or safety
- Certified Pharmacy Technician required within 18 months of hire.

Certified Pharmacy Technician required within 18 months of hire.
