Overview

As a Market Execution Leader for US Foods, you will lead all delivery, service, and merchandising operations, managing 12–16 frontline team members and driving execution across a $10-15 million dollar business. Working closely with the Sales Leader, you will align operational and commercial priorities to deliver exceptional service, operational excellence, and best-in-class in-store execution that drives growth and customer satisfaction. As a key customer-facing leader, you will build strong relationships, resolve operational challenges, and identify opportunities to improve service and performance. Your leadership skills, business acumen, and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment are critical to success in this role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of delivery and merchandising employees to deliver service and execution performance
  • Manage hourly labor deployment, staffing levels, and route coverage to meet service and productivity targets.
  • Ensure adherence to service standards, processes, and planogram compliance across all accounts
  • Conduct coaching with your team members to discuss performance and customer service skills
  • Support customer service issue resolution and manage operational escalations
  • Partner with Sales Leaders to align on customer priorities, service expectations, and execution feedback
  • Drive in-store execution through coaching, store audits, and targeted support on priority accounts
  • Lead team meetings to reinforce standards, build team culture, and recognize performance
  • Participate in cross-functional alignment meetings including daily standups and site-wide routines
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings and/or weekends

Compensation & Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $66,900 - $111,950.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out quarterly.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • A minimum of 2 years managing frontline employees highly preferred
  • Consumer packaged goods experience in a Direct Store Delivery environment preferred
  • Ability to motivate yourself and others while delivering excellent communication, negotiation, influencing, and follow up skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must meet DOT & Fleet qualifications
  • Safe driving record strongly preferred
  • Able and willing to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically
